$40 dollars for a Halloween costume?
And a Woopie Cushion no less
It has gotten out of control...
Though this one is pretty freakin' awesome!
But I mean seriously??... $85 dollars for a Teddy Roosevelt costume?
Finn - aka Bob the Builder 2007
This costume was very simple and fun to make - despite the fact that I stayed up past midnight coloring in the white checks on the shirt. ("Mama, Bob's shirt isn't red and white!! It's red and orange!!!" He cried at 7 pm the night before Halloween..)October brings a lot of excitement for my kids. The planning has begun. Now I just have to figure out how to do this...
I've got 30 days...
Wish me luck.
Wish me luck.

I think your Bob the Builder is the cutest of all. Years ago my friend's son was a Ghostbuster. His costume was homemade with a vacuum cleaner hose coming out of his backpack.
He was adorable but so excited that when he saw himself as a Ghostbuster, he wet himself and thus the costume had last-minute alterations.
Can't wait to see the new costume you make this year! I'm guessing you're NOT shaving heads for the sake of the costume...
Oh, I think you should totally shave heads! People will be so stunned by the shiny painted little head that they won't notice if the rest of the costume looks convincing.
Little boy hair grows back super fast.
;)
I'm thinking that glittery blue eyeshadow a la' 1984 is needed to make that arrow...
I HATE that tv show but my kids love it!!! Maybe you can find a skull cap at the party store.
I love the Bob the Builder. I like him better than Handy Manny.

Whoa - good luck with that! I'm not crafty at all so my kids are always among the worst dressed Halloweeners - heh heh - weeners! Too much time with the kids...
My son just came to me with Star Wars Bobba Fett costume he wants...it was $699.99...LOL...NOT!
What a cute Bob the Builder!
My daughter wanted to be a pirate last year because of the sword and this year she wants to be a Ninja because of the knives.
My son wants to be a cow for the second year in a row.
Should I be worried?
We had Bob the Builder a few years ago! It was a last minute costume as HRH refused to put on the one we had previously agreed-to. Kohls for a new pair of overalls, Target for a tool belt = instant costume.
Clearly you put more thought into yours than I did into mine.
Also? My favorite this year is a UPS Man costume.
Bob rules!!!!
Homemade is always best but THE PRESSURE! ARRRRGGGHHH...
I gotta admit - that shark rocks my world!
Yeah, that shark is great, but I'm partial to gender-neutral hand-me-downs myself.
My 4 year old just saw the Avatar pic and said: "Mama, Gavin and Eve wuv dat show."
Bahaha! I wonder if I could make that whoopie cushion one...that'd be awesome. Then I could walk around making farting noises...that would be even more awesome!
