Facebook Flashback

Facebook is freaking me out. Seriously.

In the last 6 months I have gotten back in touch with so many people I thought I would never talk to again.

Most of it is really good. Freaky but good.

So many things I thought (hoped?) I'd forgotten have come full circle. It's strange to reminisce with these people who, now, are essentially strangers.

And today? An old high school flame appears.

What's freakier? He works less than a mile away from me. (I guess that may not seem strange to some, but we went to school in Massachusetts and now live in Maine. Tinytown USA)

We're having lunch on Friday. Weird.

I agree. Facebook can be Bizarro world.

Where did you go to school in MA? I used to live in MA, too (briefly).

I went to school in Pittsfield - near Lennox. Where were you? Our paths have almost crossed so many times...

Oh, I hear you. Thankfully, I'm not scratching - even after 7 years of marriage. :)

Isn't technology crazy?

I mean, it was only a couple of years ago that you would think..."I wonder what happened to so and so..."

and now...it is so easy to find out.

I find that I have facebook fright....insecurities from high school have followed me into adulthood. I am still hesitant about asking someone to be my "Friend".

I'm with Kim...
I have not spoken or seen my oldest daughters sperm donar in 20 years. He found me on face book. I still get chills, seeing his name pop up on the screen. I almost closed the account.
Make sure you show the old flame picyures of your husband.

Dude that IS freaky. I'd totally plotz if I found out something like that and am a firm believer that some things (and people) are DEFINITELY best left in the past.
